The Luxembourg Maritime Cluster will organize the sixth edition of its  𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 on March 11^th, 2025, at 18:30, to celebrate International Day of Women’s Rights, at Chiche! (20 Av. Pasteur, 2310 Luxembourg).

This event continues its commitment to supporting women’s engagement and highlighting the importance of this celebration. We invite you to join us for a charity evening of experience sharing and empowerment — a time to grow, be inspired, standing together, and embrace new hopes.

The ticket price for the evening is €25, it includes:

> Dinner and drinks.

> A gift photography book titled 25 Regards croisés de Femmes from 1Ocean Foundation (information attached).

> Support for the 1Ocean Foundation, which advocates for ocean preservation.

100% of the ticket price will be donated to the Foundation.

The Cluster Maritime Luxembourgeois organized the fifth edition of its  𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 on March 5^th, 2024, at 18:30, to celebrate International Day of Women’s Rights, at Come à la Maison (70 route d’Esch, L-1470 Luxembourg).

The 2024 edition was not a cocktail and dinner only. It was an evening of experience sharing and empowerment. A moment of inspiration with a guest speaker, Ms. Nahima Bared — Director at Deutsche Bank Luxembourg, who discussed her struggles and motivations. A time to grow, to be inspired, and of new hopes.

That evening was also under the sign of charity. The Cluster raised funds for the Luxembourgish association ”Femmes en détresse asbl”, which has done an incredible work for more than 40 years.

On March 7th, 2023, the Cluster Maritime Luxembourgeois organized the fourth edition of its traditional 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 at Come à la Maison. More than a networking event, it became a convivial time where all the participants share their passions, life-interests and create friendships through a cocktail and dinner.

The 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 gathered 34 people from the Luxembourg maritime sector. The community is growing yearly, and the Cluster is delighted to have welcomed people from shipowners’ companies, insurance companies, banks, law firms, the finance sector, the Maritime Affairs, and more. How has the maritime sector has evolved regarding the inclusion of women in the past 20 years?

During this interview, Ms. Julie Sottiaux talks about her professional and personal experience during many years abroad. She crossed the world working for international missions of Jan De Nul Group. In the second part of the interview, she talks about the new initiatives of the company. The Cluster tried this new concept for the first time, and the Working Group Marketing is currently working to improve it.

In March 2020, the Luxembourg Maritime Cluster organized for the first time a networking event dedicated to businesswomen. It was a cosy and friendly evening and the meeting of people that did not know each other. They had the opportunity to exchange about their own experiences in the maritime sector and more!
